Blambangan Journal of Community Services (BJCS) is peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing community engagement, community empowerment, and sustainable development through the publication of high-quality, evidence-informed community service programmes. The journal provides a platform for academics, health professionals, practitioners, policymakers, and community partners to disseminate innovative and impactful community service initiatives that translate knowledge into practice and address real-world community needs.
BJCS publishes scholarly works across nursing, midwifery, medical laboratory technology, public health, medicine, pharmacy, nutrition, and other health-related disciplines. The journal welcomes articles describing community service programmes, community empowerment initiatives, technology transfer, capacity-building activities, health promotion, disease prevention, educational interventions, and other interdisciplinary community engagement activities that demonstrate measurable outcomes, ethical implementation, and sustainable community impact.

BJCS welcomes articles reporting community service activities such as health education, training, mentoring, advocacy, community empowerment, institutional strengthening, technology implementation, participatory community programmes, and other evidence-informed interventions. All submissions should demonstrate community participation, measurable outputs and outcomes, practical relevance, ethical implementation, and sustainability.
Open Access Policy
BJCS provides immediate open access to all published content based on the principle that unrestricted access to scholarly knowledge enhances community engagement, facilitates knowledge translation, and promotes the dissemination of evidence-informed community service practices worldwide.
Readers are free to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of published articles without subscription or access fees, provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source.
Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment followed by a rigorous double-anonymous peer-review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject area.
